Colorful Flat Lamp

Overview

Colorful Flat Lamp Indicator is an indicator block that works similarly to Colorful Lamp, but uses the Flat Lamp form factor with visible Pin Marks.

The indicator changes its color depending on the incoming Redstone signal strength.

A text can be written on the indicator with Formatting Notation by changing the item name with an Anvil. Text will be scaled to fit the top surface.

Configuration

The inputs (Pin Mark A) can be configured to face any side by right-clicking. When multiple inputs are connected, the Indicator displays the greatest Redstone signal from its inputs.

Every 16th right-click or a right-click with Colorful Flat Lamp Indicator item toggles base reading state, where the indicator reads Redstone signal from its base, shown by the Pin Marks in the corners.

Registry name: redstonecg:colorful_flat_lamp_indicator

Block properties:

• power(0|1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|10|11|12|13|14|15): sets color.
• waterlogged(false|true): determines whether the block is waterlogged.
• connection(0|1|2|3|4|5|6|7|8|9|10|11|12|13|14|15): sets Pin Mark configuration. On 15 there are no Pin Marks on the sides. Each time this is set to 15, block entity property `base_read` is toggled.

Block Entity

Structure:

• id: block entity identifier - redstonecg:default_colored_flat_lamp
• x: X coordinate of the block entity.
• y: Y coordinate of the block entity.
• z: Z coordinate of the block entity.
• state: encoded facing and rotation used to orient the block.
• base_read: determines if block reads signal in the direction of its base.
• color (length of 3): The color of this lamp. Overwritten each time block state property power changes.
• CustomName (Optional): custom name of the block and displayed text.
